Benderson Park to Co-Host 2018 NCAA Rowing Championships

Nathan Benderson Park has been chosen to co-host the 2018 National Collegiate Athletic Association's Rowing Championship with the University of Central Florida. This is another one of many high profile sporting events being drawn to the Sarasota/Bradenton area thanks to the park. This event will draw in about 3,000 athletes and fans over the course of 3 days in May of 2018 (May 25-May 27). This great news comes just after Benderson Park received word that it was selected to host the 2014, 2015, and 2016 modern pentathlon world cup events, which will include the US Olympic qualifier for the 2016 Olympic Games. Benderson Park is located at 2500 N. Honore Ave, in Sarasota, Florida. For more information please visit their site at:www.worldclassrowing.com
