Coming Soon - Ascend at Grove West
Development continues along the State Road 54 corridor with DHI Communities (the multifamily division of national homebuilder D.R. Horton) building on 34 acres of land it plans on to be a multi-family residential community. This is a first project in the Tampa Bay area for DHI which was attracted to the location for its convenient proximity; just west of I-75 and with easy access to State Road 54. It is found between Old Pasco Rd, and Oakley Blvd., next to The Grove. This puts the community in walkable distance to The Grove entertainment complex, with many new restaurants and retail in the KRATE container park which opened in June 2022.
The land parcel was sold to DHI for $9.5 million and is currently zoned for 330 apartments and 82 townhomes. DHI Communities plans to invest $80 million into the development will call it Ascend at Grove West.
Thanks to civil engineering and permitting support from WRA, construction was able to begin in Q2 2021.
