Dry Season Calls for Conservation
The Tampa Bay area is in a Phase 4 water shortage, according to Tampa Bay Water (TBW). This is partially due to the fact that the C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir is out of service and under renovations. The reservoir would have held around 15.5 billion gallons of water, and would have relieved the Tampa Bay during this dry spell. Instead, officials are asking the public to conserve their water usage.To anyone in a residential area, be mindful or watering regulations as you could be fined very heavily during this time. Limiting and/or managing your outdoor irrigation during this time is crucial.
