Michael C. Alfieri, P.G., P.Hg., CGWP was elected Chair of the Florida Board of Professional Geologists

Michael C. Alfieri, P.G., P.Hg., CGWP was elected Chair of the Florida Board of Professional Geologists on April 27, 2016. Mr. Alfieri, who manages all geologic/hydrogeologic services for WRA as Principal Hydrogeologist, is a professionally licensed geologist in thirteen states and a nationally certified/registered hydrogeologist. He provides geologic and hydrogeologic interpretation and evaluations and expert witness services for WRA. Mr. Alfieri is a recognized expert in: geology/hydrogeology; Florida karst geology/hydrogeology; groundwater flow and fate/transport modeling within Florida and across the United States; water use permitting/planning; and potable and non-potable well design, permitting, construction/construction oversight, and maintenance.
