North Jacksonville Industrial Park
Benderson Development Co. LLC, one of the country’s largest privately held real estate companies, is building 2 industrial warehouses totaling 2 million square feet of space in North Jacksonville. The new industrial park is located west of the Florida East Coast Railway track, at the intersection of I-95 and Pecan Park Road, northeast of Jacksonville International Airport. The site is located on over 991.66 acres which Benderson bought 15 years ago from the Bacardi Bottling Corporation. The land was purchased for $20 million. An additional 15 acres were purchased from Signature Land Co.
The side plan includes two warehouses, the first with 498,960 sq.ft. of space, and the second with 1,532,464 sq.ft. of space. Additionally the site includes offices, parking, trailer stalls, and loading docks.
Potentially this park will serve the needs of tenant e-commerce companies, such as Walmart and Lowes.
