WRA was responsible for the engineering and water resource related aspects of the renewal of the Swiss Golf Club WWTF permit from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).

Swiss Golf Club is a facility owned and operated by Century Properties, Lakeland Florida, and is located in Polk County near the town of Winter Haven.  As part of the renewal, WRA demonstrated to FDEP that based on the facilities operating record and historical water quality compliance that the duration of the new permit could be extended to 10-years; that certain water quality parameters no longer needed to be tested; and that the frequency of groundwater monitoring (a service that WRA also performs for the Swiss Golf Facility) could be cut from quarterly to semi-annually.
